Two new stakes have been created.
The Alpine Utah YSA (Young Single Adult) Stake, which includes 13 YSA wards, was created. It is the 11th Utah YSA stake created, all this year. Utah has had 4 other stakes created this year for a total of 563. Alpine is just North of Provo, Utah.
A new stake has been created called the Rio de Janeiro Engenho de Dentro Stake. It is Brazil's 3rd new stake in 2011 and now Brazil has 243 stakes - second only to the United States. There are now 2,939 stakes, with 1,493 in the US (50.8%)
