It is the first temple in the country of El Salvador, the 4th in Central America (plus 2 more under construction), not counting the 13 in Mexico. It was the first LDS temple dedicated in 2011, (Kiev, #134 was 8/2010) and the next is Quetzaltenango Guatemala, #136, scheduled for 12/2011.
